Considerations for disability characteristics Even children with weak fingertips are able to grip, throw and turn the ball. Children are also able to experience the sensation of pulling the ball off of the Velcro.
Expected effects and results Children enjoy the feeling of the soft, puffy ball, as well as experience the crackling sensation of slowly pulling the ball free.
How to use The teacher makes a target by wrapping the cloth around themselves, hanging it on a wall or laying it on the floor.
The children throw the ball at the target. The belt can be used alone and can replace a datejime (a type of belt worn around a kimono).
