Considerations for disability characteristics • Before dropping the marbles, make children focus on the marbles using their senses of touch and vision.
• If children cannot push marbles into the container by themselves, a teacher assists them.
• If it is hard for children to push marbles into the container, make the hole larger.
Expected effects and results Children will be able to:
• understand the relationship between the cause and effect of what they have done
• act purposefully
• be actively involved with physical objects.
How to use (1) Place a marble on the indentation in the lid of the container.
(2) Push the marble into the container with the finger.
(3) A marble dropped into the container makes the bell ring. Ensure that the children hear the bell.
