Specific purposes |
・Children’s interest in numbers can be increased while they work with objects. ・Children will become able to connect numbers and quantities up to 10. |

Expected effects and results |
・The children learned to use the teaching material and became able to line up the exact number of bottle caps as indicated on each step, as well as to count by pointing at the caps. ・They also began to be able to make the connection between numbers and quantities from 6 to 10. |
How to use |
1. Show the stair-shaped board with numbers written on it. 2. Line up the exact number of plastic bottle caps on the stairs as indicated on each step. 3. The child and the teacher count the numbers by pointing at each cap. |
