Expected effects and results |
The sheets facilitate investigating factors that may trigger the behaviors and improve ambient conditions whenever possible. The records can be used for cooperating with medical institution (such as adjusting medication dosages). |
How to use |
1) Define the behaviors to monitor. (In the recording sheets in the photos, laughing loudly or running away from the place instead of following the instruction is defined as H, following the instruction calmly is defined as N, and crying loudly or hurting himself/herself or another person is defined as L.) 2) Record the time when a target behavior is monitored on the sheet by putting a dot. 3) Write any event that preceded or followed the behavior. 4) Accumulate data, and estimate a factor(s) that precedes or follows the behavior. 5) Make possible adjustments to eliminate or mitigate the estimated factor(s). |
