Specific purposes Each card contains two choices from which children are to choose their favorite one. The cards aim:
- Children practice self-selection and self-determination,
- Children practice self-understanding and understanding others,
- Children express their wish to others by communicating what they like, and
- Children build good relationships with others.
Considerations for disability characteristics Use of braille enables also people with visual impairment play the cards.
Expected effects and results The cards help children:
- Select which they like by themselves and communicate it to others
- Foster the attitude of listening to another person in a natural way
- Build good relationships within the group that plays the game
How to use 1) Decide the order of drawing cards.
2) At your turn, draw a card and answer which one you like more.
3) Also say why you like it in few words.
4) If you don’t want to answer, you do not need to. Just say “Pass”.
5) The next person takes the turn.
