Target Children with various conditions
(At our school, we performed this activity with students who were able to count from 1 to 9 and with those whom teachers wanted to be able to jump continuously while enjoying exercising.

Specific purposes ○ To enable children to understand and play the game.
• Step on the numbers from 1 to 9, in order.
• Jump with both feet (one-foot jumping and one-foot hopping are acceptable, depending on the child).
○ To enable children to reach the goal as fast as possible.
• Quickly find the next number.
• Jump while picturing the next number.
• Continue jumping while maintaining their balance.
Considerations for disability characteristics • The rules are easy.
• The rules can be easily changed, and settings can also be easily devised to suit each student.
• Students enjoy playing this game.
Expected effects and results Children enjoyed the jumping game and felt their skills grow by measuring the time taken to complete the game. This game improved their balance and adaptability.
How to use (Safety)
• Use mats with non-slip tape attached to them to stop them moving.
• Before starting the game, make sure that there are no other children or students near the mats.
• To prevent injury when the children fall, leave nothing around the mats.

(How to use)
(1) A player stands in the start circle and waits for the start of the game.
(2) At the whistle signal, the player jumps on the mat with both feet in order of the numbers.
(3) The game is over when the player gets into the goal circle and records the time.
Related teaching materials and information This game can be varied devising various ways of placing the mats.
Example: obtain 3  3 square mats; connect the mats like a snake; randomize the distance between the mats; have the children jump with both feet or one foot, or hop.
