Considerations for disability characteristics • The ball is pressed into the hole with the finger and falls down into the box below, making a sound. The children’s action is thus immediately fed back to them aurally.
Expected effects and results • This teaching material will enable the children to act with enthusiasm while enjoying the game and to voluntarily communicate with others, saying “I want to do it again!”
How to use • Make the diameter of holes almost equal to that of the balls, so that pressing a ball creates a certain amount of tactile resistance.
• Place the teaching material on a mat placed on the table so that it doesn’t move; align it approximately with the level of the child’s navel.
• In a manner appropriate to their developmental stage, urge the children to arrange and clean up the balls by themselves.
