Expected effects and results | Use of the seam guide can speed up the completion of work, providing students with a sense of accomplishment. |
How to use |
1. Place the cloth edge along the seam guide, which is positioned parallel to the sewing direction, to sew a line the desired distance away from the seam guide. 2. Using a seam guide that is placed perpendicular to the sewing line and indicates the needle position enables users to confirm the start and end of sewing. 3. Materials used to make the seam guide: A sheet that is thick enough to be felt on the table of the sewing machine, such as a magnet sheet or heavy paper, is preferable. Select colors that are easy for students with poor eyesight to recognize. |
